Since its founding in 1970 by Guy Protano Sr. and his two sons, Guy Jr. and Pat, Protano's Bakery has grown from a small Italian-American Deli with a couple of small ovens in the backroom, to a bakery occupying over 23,000 square feet of plant space.
Still owned by Guy Jr. and Pat, Protano's is a family operated business that has developed a long list of loyal and devoted customers from Stuart to Florida City, by providing products and service unmatched by any other bakery. The wide variety of dinner rolls featured on this site are only a few of the many baked goods offered by Protano's that are all baked under Broward Kosher supervision.

This is Protano's Bakery.
Protano's rolls are baked fresh daily by skilled Master Bakers. Kaiser Rolls are four and five inches. Varieties are plain, poppy seed, sesame seed, onion honeywheat. Hoagie Rolls are sized from five to twelve inches. (Pan, hearth and baguette style available.) Plus, with only a two day advance notice your hoagie roll can be from three to eigh feet.
Protano's uses only the finest ingredients in preparing a wide selection of breads. Preservatives and stabilizers are never used. French Baguettes. Torta Rings. Single and double round Italian bread with flour or sesame seeds. One and two pound Campagniolo, (firm and crusty hearth baked) available in white, whole wheat, and Semolina. Sourdough Round loaf. Ciabatta.
Protano's uses only the most modern equipment to assure consistency in texture and flavor. Deli Rye with or without caraway seed, marble, pumpernickel loaves. White and honeywheat vienna loaves in two, three, or four pound. Challah, oatbran, sunflower, rye, pumpernickel, marble and honeywheat louves are all available pullman style.
Protano's takes pride in delivering cakes, pies and danish that are the finest available in South Florida.
Mini, medium and large muffins. Fat free also available. Full assortment of 10" fruit and creme pies. A wide variety of 10" layer cakes. Single layer and double layer decorated sheet cakes. Wedding Cakes. Choose danish that is round, cigar, orpocket style. Filled with fruit or cheese and available in various sizes.
